I discovered the below post lurking in the “drafts” folder of my Tumblr account, found it hilarious, and decided I had to post it unaltered and as it was in the moment that I started to write about my hatred for the town of Chinchero, Peru, only to realize I’d forgotten to bring my notes.  I love that it crystallizes my exact feelings in that moment, on that ridiculous day, like the proverbial jurassic fly caught in amber.

I believe it was an hour or so after I wrote this entry that I discovered that pretty much my entire online identity had been hacked by Nigerian scammers.  Which is why I never actually completed my entry on Chinchero.  Ah, fun times…
